Dark, but transparent, bluish violet that mixes best with cool primaries, this subtle variation of Ultramarine Blue also quiets color and intensity in a mixture and produces delicate lavender tints with white.

Useful to create nuances of gray in a flesh tone or against cool yellow complements.

Ultramarine Violet is milled with the finest alkali refined Linseed Oil in limited quantities for a naturally drying durable paint film.
